July #FLBabyBookClub

Last month I introduced #FLBabyBookClub. If you didn’t catch the intro, here’s what you need to know: Each month I’ll be sharing the books that Seth loves and giving you the chance to win a bundle of the books. You can read last month’s post if you’d like to know more.

This month Seth has loved

Never Touch a Dinosaur – Rosie Greening (2017)

Seth absolutely loved Never Touch a Monster (mentioned last month) so I got him the latest book by Rosie Greening too. It’s just as cute and textured as Never Touch a Monster and follows a similar story – of never touching a Dinosaur, except in this book.

I adore these books because the pages are extra think boards with crazy colourful pictures and great touch zones that keep Seth entertained for a full half an hour.

Hello Daddy – Ladybird (2014)

This simple but enjoyable book doesn’t have a story but instead teaches your child about animals and different textures. I think Seth enjoys the vivid colours more than anything else.

Dear Zoo – Rod Campbell (1982)

I remember this book from my pre-primary days. Such a classic!
Seth is fascinated by the little flaps that open to reveal the animal inside. He squeals as I open and close them, as if he is witnessing the most amazing magic trick. So worth it!
