This stunning advent calendar sold out SO FAST and it’s easy to see why.
Behind twelve beautiful windows, are twelve even more exquisite bottles of eau de toilette from Superdrug’s Bloom range.
(I am going to exchange “eau de toilette” with “fragrance” or “perfume” for the sake of readability. If you would like to know the difference between eau de toilette and perfume, you can read this article.)
In each of the twelve Chanel-esque glass bottles are 8mls of fruity and floral fragrances that can be worn on their own or layered to create a unique scent.
My favourite four picks are:
Lime Basil and Mandarin – Very masculine and sexy.
Fig and Berry Cassis – Slightly masculine too but with a sweet note at the end. It reminds me of uShaka Marine world for some reason.
Floral Bouquet – Literally like smelling a bouquet of flowers.
Bergamot and Cucumber – Citrusy, fresh and very clean.
I can’t wait to start experimenting with the scents and seeing which ones work well paired together and how they wear on my skin.
I’ve also decided to only keep seven for myself and will be gifting the other five fragrances to friends and family as stocking fillers. These tiny perfumes are just too beautiful not to share it with loved ones. I hope it makes them as happy as it has made me.
Superdrug have extended their Bloom range to include candles. I’ve just ordered Lime Basil and Mandarin, as well as Fig and Berry Cassis. They are currently half price too, in case you needed a reason to spend some money.
If you missed your chance to get your hands on the Bloom advent calendar, then you’ll be happy to know that I bought an extra one.
